Every so often you get somebody that makes a remark that comes back to bite them hard.
Many years ago, Michael Fish remarked that we`d not be troubled by a hurricane only for one to sweep across the south of our country causing billions of pounds of damage.
On Saturday, Alan Green, commentating on our fixture against Everton, produced the following quip as the fourth official held up the board indicating the amount of added time to be played,
"Two or three minutes added, it won`t make a difference to the score line."
Well it did and even as a United supporter even I can now see the funny side!

Seem to remember Murray Walker saying something along the lines of "And surely Mansell will take the chequered flag now" immediately prior to Mansell's engine blowing up about 50 yards from the finish line!
