'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - It Rankles With City!

It`s always nice to get under the skin of that lot from across the road.

They may believe they`re going all Hollywood with the release of some film about their exploits last season but something really grates with the City lot, let their chief executive, Gary Cook explains in the film,

"There is a banner at Old Trafford which reads 33 ½ years and it`s ticking towards 34, the number of years without a trophy here. It drives us nuts."

Like I said, always nice to get under their skin!

Well surely winning a trophy after the amount they spent shouldn't be that hard? Maybe, just maybe, there's a bit more to a team than a coalition of big-money, over-priced players. Maybe winning a trophy has more to do than just having the best team on paper. No doubt the 10/11 season will mark City's 34th! year without a trophy.

Doesn't bother me one bit. In fact, once we've won that elusive first trophy I'm leading a campaign to have the banner left up permanently as a testament to the true lack of class inherent at all levels of your club (from fans to boardroom level). That banner has always said more about manure than it has about City.

We should be envious of you City fans and your moral high ground. Cant even type it with a straight face!
TheFamousNo7
Total class, and an unsurpassable obsession with the team that "Don't matter" to them. The rags are hilarious in their utter hypocrisy. Please, don't ever take that banner down.

Most probably wont ever get to take it down fcb, except when we've got to add another year onto it :P
