United - Evra Loses Appeal!

I`m not sure if there really was ever any chance of getting the five-game suspension lifted.

However, Patrice Evra obviously felt that he needed to challenge the 5 game ban handed out to him for his part in the South Africa 2010 saga that saw Nicolas Anelka sent home and the players refuse to train in protest.

Needless to say the appeal fell on deaf ears and Evra still has to serve his five game ban. The only query we currently have relates to whether rPatrice has three or two games left to serve,

As you may recall, the current France manager, Laurent Blanc, dropped every last man from the 2010 World Cup squad for his first game in charge and France have since played two European Championship qualifiers, so does that first game count or is the five game ban applied to competitive matches only?

THE BAN GIVES HIM MORE CHANCE OF PLAYING FOR US 100% REFRESHED!

Great news if anything. He should really stick it to 'em and retire from international football like Anelka did and laugh in their face when they're getting dominated and the LB position is being exploited.

Didn't know Evra ever had any appeal.
