United - Bebe Praise!

Interesting to read, over the past few weeks, a mixed reception to how Bebe has performed since joining United.

Some unsavoury individuals have already tried to tarnish the signing by claiming he`s looked like a fish out of water in training, probably trying to pour scorn on the fact that Sir Alex openly admitted he`d signed Bebe without having seen him play.

Still young, we`d hope that Bebe is considered as work in progress and that one day he`ll be wearing the famous red shirt of United, a former coach of his, the ex-Estrela coach - Jorge Paixao, certainly thinks the lad is a gem, commenting,

"United are getting a truly remarkable kid. He had skills that not many players in that league have."

Would it be hoping too much to catch a brief glimpse of the lad in action in our Carling Cup tie against Scunthorpe or should we be more patient?

I would love to see him but I can only see him coming on in the Carling Cup if we're winning comfortably.
