United - Fletcher Hopes for Strong Ref!

And so with no domestic football to survive on this weekend we`re reduced to salvaging scraps of international news to keep things ticking over on the site.

Darren Fletcher, away with Scotland, is hoping that the Scots can wrestle three points from their Lithuanian hosts, but Darren has not so fond memories of his last encounter with the Lithuanian side.

Fletcher, making an honest challenge, was horrified to see his opponent tumble over and be awarded a penalty, this time around he readily admits that he`s hoping for a more affable referee, remarking to the media before the squad flew to Lithuania,

"It`s a different culture to here."

"All you can hope for is that the ref is strong and gets the major decisions right."

And the chances are of that happening?
