United - Bebe on the Cheap!

United - Bebe on the Cheap!

Having paid a small fortune for a player that can at best be described as an uncut diamond, rumours are circulating that infer United could have bought the subject player a whole lot cheaper.

In fact the inference is that last January, United could have snapped up Bebe for as little as £125,000 after his name was circulated around Europe, by the Portuguese Third Division side Estrela, as being available.

Seemingly, Estrela were desperate to raise funds with Jorge Paxaio taking up the story,

"We had to raise money desperately and we told everyone you can have him for 150,000 Euros."

Ssshhh! Don`t let the Glazers find that out!

Could've bought Ribery before he signed for Bayern Munich, Villa before he signed for Valencia, Sneijder before he signed for Madrid, etc, etc.

According to David Gill you've got plenty of money, so an extra £7m isn't going to make all that much difference now is it?

You didn't know who he was so saying you could have got him on the cheap is wrong... and he was on a free a few months ago! £7m is a big gamble!
