United Draw Scunthorpe!
Entering the Carling Cup at the third round stage, due to our participation in the Champions League, United were given an away tie.
Our defence of the trophy we won against Aston Villa, at Wembley, will begin with a trip to Scunthorpe.
The tie should give Sir Alex Ferguson the opportunity to blood some youngsters whilst also providing the Scunthorpe faithful with a chance to see some of our established stars.
The tie will be played in the week commencing 2oth September.
