United - The Will He Won`t He Scholes Thingy!

The Scholes for England campaign, despite his advancing years, continues to gather momentum.

Today the consensus of opinion amongst the journalists of the tabloid press is that Capello wants to know if Paul wants to come out of international retirement.

Wayne Rooney has added his bit to the debate by being quoted in the tabloid press this morning as having remarked,

"I`d like to see him playing. He`s fantastic, one of the best players in the country."

"But it`s his decision and Fabio Capello`s whether he wants to try to pick him. It`s down to them."

Here at Vital Manchester United we can`t help thinking that if Fabio had of, originally, contacted Paul direct instead of getting one of his assistants to do so, we might not be still debating this whole saga!

What`s your verdict?

If he wants/wanted to play for England he will/would have. Would YOU care who asked you to play for your country?

I would definately care zbam. If the main man asks you you know you're truly wanted and needed whereas if it's his right hand man then you feel more expendable.
