England's 2018 Bid Gets Sir Alex's Backing

From Vital England:

With the Fifa delegates undertaking their final tour of England's world cup bid, before the announcement in December, Sir Alex Ferguson has offered his full support to the 2018 bid.

Fergie, along with Sir Bobby Charlton, helped lead the inspectors around Old Trafford and feels that the facilities their, and at the other venues, would make the bid a huge success in his eyes: 'the facilities for both players and fans are magnificent, from training grounds to stadia and the passion of the English people for the game would ensure that everybody would be made to feel welcome.

'It would be a memorable occasion and would inspire people all over the world.'

Our final chance to impress is here, and although we have a chance to be honest I think that Russia has already been selected...
