United - Bebe A Dud? Or An Early Blip?

United - Bebe A Dud? Or An Early Blip?

Its being 'reported' that Bebe isn't living up to the expectations of him, so far, since his arrival at Old Trafford.

Bebe joined Man United for £7.4m at the start of the month from Vitoria de Guimaraes on the recommendation to Sir Alex of his former assistant Carlos Queiroz - although Fergie has admitted that he signed him without having seen him play, which isn't something he has done previously!

His performances in training are 'said' to have disappointed so far and as a result Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to The Guardian, left him out of the reserve side to face rivals Man City, which left Fergie unable to view the Portuguese youngster as he was scheduled too.

Are you worried that United might have picked up a dud here, or do you think it is nothing more than an early blip in his Old Trafford career?

Bebe never featured in the reserves game against Man City and now he is already considered a flop, what a load of rubbish. They haven't even seen him play and they're implying his ability was all hot air.

Could this lad be another Ali Dia? That would be hilarious, and would eclipse the farce that was Massimo Taiibi. Suspect he's not all that bad though, but is just taking his time to settle. £7.4 million down the pan has a nice ring to it for us rival fans, but much too soon to tell.

It is too early to decide how successful Bebe will be at United. To imply he could be a flop before Fergie has even seen him play is ridiculous.

Everyone needs time to settle but for £7m he needs to settle quick. Even if he's not performing in training the reserves should still play him. It'll get him used to the PL quicker!
