United - Tell Us Something New Arsene?

Who rattled his cage?

Everybody knows that Paul Scholes has, on numerous times, committed a bad tackle or two but obviously Arsene Wenger has only ever had saints in his sides, hasn`t he, when he remarks,

"Who wouldn`t want a quality player like Paul Scholes in his team?"

"But ask me if he`s been a fair player, I say no. I`m sorry for me he`s not been fair."

"There`s a little bit of a darker side in him. I don`t like that."

"It`s not because you are older suddenly you are a saint."

Wind your neck in Arsene!

But his captain for years was Vieira??? Along with players like Lauren & Keown - More hypocritical dross from the premierships biggest hypocrite.

Lets just remember the line "who wouldn't want a quality player like Paul Scholes in his team" and forget the rest.

I'm more interested to know how Scholes came into his pre-match conference

@ ForeverUnited: because a journo asked him. And if you look at the entire statement by Wenger, it was pretty fair. He gave Scholes great praise for his ability and contribution to the game, and tempered it with the criticism of his tackling. And only the most one-eyed United fan would refuse to admit that Scholes' penchant for horrible tackles is the one stain on his otherwise brilliant game. Yes, Vieira was as bad or worse, but that does not change the fact that Scholes has that dirty side to him that shows itself occasionally.
