United - The Rooney Drought Goes On!

After having not scored for 12 games there was a fair chance quite a few Manchester United supporters were having a wager on Wayne Rooney to end that run last night.

The reason being that Wayne has scored more goals against Newcastle (10) than any other Premier League side.

Unfortunately, it just goes to show that when your luck is out it doesn`t matter who you`re playing against does it!

Well when Rooney was on form I would rate him as good as Messi. Im sure Rooney will get back to where he was last season he just needs a bit more game time.

Rooney was hardly a prolific goal scorer before last season in all fairness but i do hope last season was him maturing and playing well rather than just a good season.
