United - Sir Alex Looks Ahead!

Waiting for our chance to show the others what we can do in the Premier League this season, Sir Alex has spoken about three of our chief rivals for a record 19th title.

Top of his list of potential threats to us completing that feat are the team that won the Premier League last season, albeit by a solitary point, Chelsea.

"My thoughts are not on the top four because we have to think about how we are going to win the league."

"You have to think that Chelsea, after winning it last season, are favourites."

"You normally think the team that won it last year have to be knocked off their perch and they`re in that position at the moment."

"They will look at, as I would do, how they can stay there. Hopefully us and any one of the other clubs could easily be challenging."

Sir Alex also has a suspicion that David Moyes, over at Goodison Park, may also have a say in matters, remarking,

"The interesting thing is Everton. They have all their players back."

"The first half of last season was a nightmare for them, injuries to the likes of Mikel Arteta and Phil Jagielka, they were big losses."

"Now all these players are fit they could be an interesting prospect."

But what about those cash-laden oiks over at Eastlands?

"City have to be in the top four. They have spent that money and expectation increase with that."

"They will be challengers, there`s no doubt about that."

"You expect that, they have players who will win games for you."

"It could be a really interesting league."

Fergie is a really big admirer of Everton isn't he.
TheFamousNo7
What he didn't say is that he has no money that the signings he had made are huge risks because of this and that United will clearly struggle and he will need to deflect attention elsewhere as United sink into being the second club in Manchester.

^Because none of that is true.
