United - Off the Mark in a Weird Way!

United - Off the Mark in a Weird Way!

In hindsight it is probably the strangest first goal in competitive football I`ve ever seen a United player get.

Post match even Javier Hernandez didn`t seem too certain of what had happened when he put United 2-0 up against Chelsea, in the Community Shield yesterday.

Somehow, Javier contrived to sweep he ball into the net with his foot only for the ball to deflect off his foot, smack him on the head and go in, prompting a mass celebration in front of the united faithful.

It was so strange that I doubt whether he`ll ever score a goal of that nature again but then again who`d bet against it, strange game this game of ours don`t you agree!

I don't care how he scores them as long as he does score them. It was bound to be a goal anyway.
