'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Fletcher on Being a One Club Man!

Football has changed in recent years, it`s rare to find a player that plies his trade for just one club throughout his entire career.

But here at Manchester United we`re defying that trend with the likes of Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs all quite content to unpack their suitcases upon arriving at Old Trafford never to pack them again.

If he gets his way they could soon be joined by Darren Fletcher who is quoted in the media this morning as having commented,

"For me there`s nowhere better than United and if I can play my whole career at this club, I`ll be a happy man. There`s something very special about staying at one club for your whole career - Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs and Paul Scholes are all legends. To get anywhere close to that would be a real achievement."

Fletcher, in our opinion, is an under-rated player and with Sir Alex valuing him so highly there`s every chance he too, in years to come, could be reflecting back on a top career at the top club!

As long as he keeps putting in solid performances week in week out he is bound to be a United legend.
