United - Not Spending a Dime?

United - Not Spending a Dime?

Is this the end of all the rumours printed by the tabloid press or is Sir Alex playing a game of poker when he remarks,

"I don`t see the value in terms of adding to our squad when I`m happy with what I`ve got."

"I don`t see any reason to add to that just because people want you to buy someone."

We`re fairly sure that Sir Alex is being a little ecoy here - how about you?

dont need another signing. already bought a defender in smalling for £10m, an unbelieveable hitman in Chicharito for £8m aswell as upgrading young goalkeeper amos and amazing winger/midfielder cleverley, so as you see we do not need anyone. Chicharito is an unbelieveable star and will beçome one of the most feared strikers in the game and cleverley is an incredible player and deserves his chance. amos is a decent young keeper and smalling is a solid defender. Chicharito is the real deal.
Fergie is GOD.

Fernandez looked great for Mexico, and he also looked OK in the small ammount of pre-season playing time he had. But I think you should really wait and see how he performs over the first few months of the season before you make him out to be one of the "most feared strikers in the game". I am categorically not calling him a bad player, nor am I predictting he'll flop, but there is a realistic chance that he will not be able to live up to the huge ammount of expectation that most united fans appear to be piling on his shoulders at the moment. In short, don't count your chickens!

Can you blame us for getting excited about Chicharito who has had an amazing WC and a great pre-season all with very limited playing time. I can't see us signing anyone else this season personally though.
