United - Five Is Enough!

United - Five Is Enough!

Following on from the revelation yesterday that Cleverly will be staying at Old Trafford but that Welbeck and Diouf will be allowed to go out on loan, Sir Alex has explained the reasoning.

Talking to the media prior to the Community Shield, Sir Alex has remarked,

"We`re pleased with the young strikers we have. So much so we`ve allowed two to go on loan."

"It leaves us with five strikers - the experienced ones in Rooney, Berbatov and Owen, along with Macheda and Hernandez. Five is sufficient."

So no more talk of buying a striker then please!

They (the press) can't help themselves though.

dont need another siging, i am bored of hearing about ozil and fans saying we should sign him. ozil did very little at werder bremen last yr and no-one cared, then he does ok at world cup and we should sign him, why? he wasnt even their stand out, that was mueller, hes highly over-rated at the moment and i dont think he could handle a club like ours. tom cleverley is better anyway, with tom and amos being upgraded and the signings of smalling and chicharito we dont need anyone. we want our title back.

chicharito is unbelievable, an amzing top class kid rapidly heading to world class. have only seen 8 of his gms so far (england, s.africa, rance, uruguay, argentina, mls all-stars, ManUtd/chivas, airtricity), but have seen alot on the web and heard alot on him and i am excited of chicharito, being compared to solskjaer and owen says alot. javier i can see getting around 15gls if he gets enough gms and i know he already haves our rivalries running scared. fergie does it again, the future is ours.

just a heads up... Ozil was werders player of the year last year and had 11 goals and 24assists last year. One of the highest in europe in terms of goal providing. He may not come to the BPL but please give the guy some credit

cleverley is better than ozil and thats a fact. peeps are bigging ozil up on a worldcup whère the bignames sucked, ozil was ordinary for bremen last yr and no-one cared about him, then he haves 7 good world cup gms and for some reason we should buy him. poborsky was good at euro 96, kleberson was good at world cup 02 how they turn out - both flops, ozil would be no different. mueller was the standout of germany ayway not ozil so why media and fans all over this kid?. we dont need mesut ozil.

FIG - as maka pointed out, Ozil was player of the season last year and achieved 11 goals and 24 assists (all from midfield)- so how does that make him an ordinary player? And to say that Cleverly is a better player than Ozil is quite risable in my view, seeing as Ozil has played at the highest level whilst Cleverly was touted as going out on loan until last week. But then again, seeing as most manure fans watch football from the comfort of their armchairs, I wouldn't expect you to have a realistic view on things like this.

Lets not be silly, Cleverly spent a year in the championship and shone there. Ozil shone in the bundesliga and the world cup. Ozil is much better than Cleverley.

Funny that! Wasn't F***** having a dig at City at beginning of last season for having that number of strikers on their books?

we have chicharito and macheda who are relatively inexperienced. We don have RSC, Bellamy and Benjani(Till Jan) who are much more experienced. RSC was first choice at BB and Benjani at Portsmouth
