United - Still At The Rumour Stage!

United - Still At The Rumour Stage!

There`s an interesting little piece of gossip doing the rounds relating to a possible transfer!

Mesut Ozil, the talented Werder Bremen midfield star, is in the last year of his contract. A failure to renegotiate or to sell him now will result in him walking away from Werder Bremen next summer for free.

Several clubs are perfectly aware of this situation and it`s surprising that nobody has, reportedly, gone in with a firm bid.

But, if our rumour source is to be believed then United could be on the verge of making a proposition, a proposition that involves our Portuguese midfielder, Anderson, plus a wedge of cash £12 million) going to Werder Bremen to secure a deal.

Be great to see it happen but like I say it`s nothing more than a rumour at the moment with nothing concrete to give it credence!

Ozil would offer that much needed Attacking Mid however we would be getting ripped if we offer Anderson and 12 mil.

No you wouldn't famous, Ozil is absolute class! P.S. Not sure if Werder would accept a payer swap with someone who is out for at least another two months though.

Ozil is class there's no doubt about that but we would be swapping a promising young player and 12 mil for another promising young player (though currently being better) who may not adjust to the premier league.

btw Famousno7 i think we had a bit of a misunderstanding at the mancity article... i was merely quoting my best friend a manu fan and i found him to be hilarious. I'm sorry if it came across wrong... i admit it was my bad to have used a generalisation.
