United - Bruce Wins the Race!
It`s looking as if Steve Bruce has won the race for the signature of Danny Welbeck.
That respected pillar of British news reporting, The Times, carries the inference that Welbeck will be joining Sunderland, on a loan basis, this week.
If indeed Steve Bruce has seen off fierce competition it`ll see Welbeck reunited with a certain Frazier Campbell who, via a roundabout route, is also now on the books of Sunderland FC.
We`ll let you know when the deal is officially announced!
