Sven Sick Of Rooney Questions

Sven Sick Of Rooney Questions

It is five-and-a-half weeks since Rooney broke his foot against Chelsea and Sven Goran Eriksson says he is fed up of questions about the Manchester United star.

Interest will intensify on Wednesday as the country awaits the outcome of the all-important scan.

Eriksson: 'I'm sure the doctor will phone as soon as he knows something. It's up to the surgeons, the specialists and the doctors. I can't judge it.

'I've said that he will take part in the World Cup and I still believe it very strongly.

'I look forward to the point where I don't have to discuss scans and Wayne Rooney's foot any more.'

He is not the only one sick of hearing about Rooney, as great a player as he is, we can win it with or without him.

I know its getting boring. Sven needs another scandel on his shoulders. Get a new mistress sven and the Rooney questions will be a thing of the past.

I can guess how he feels. I think we are a good enough squad even without wayne. So lets get it on.
