United - No Sneijder Move

Sir Alex Ferguson might have been told that he has some money to sign top quality players that will improve the Man United squad but Wesley Sneijder isn't going to be one of them.

Sneijder has been linked with a move to Man United after his exploits for Holland at the world cup but his Soren Lerby, talking to Calcionews24.com, insists that the world cup runner-up is staying with Inter: 'This is one of those years in which everything is beautiful and perfect. It's difficult that Wesley will forget everything that has happened this year.

'He has made history and everyone is happy for that. His future is with Inter, there are no doubts or problems about this.'

The Holland international is one of the many players linked by rumours to Old Trafford, although we can officially cross his name off the list now.

I doubt you could afford him
HuddersfieldYiddo
If we were to sign an attacking mid i would go for Van Der Vaart. He won't, well shouldn't, cost too much and definately has talent as well as being alot more physical than Sneijder. I think he just needs to be put into the right team.
TheFamousNo7
You are broke and couldn't afford any World Class players - a club on the decline - mid table at best.

Do you sit there with a clowns outfit on when thinking up these comments wswilly?
TheFamousNo7
no! he sits there with his mum spoon feeding him his eggy soldiers reading the Beano! He's a winda-licka!
Red Boy
I still think anderson will come good for you guys.
Chelsea24/7
Will Anderson make the squad of 25? He's not pencilled in for a return until late September at the earliest, and speculation is that fergie might leave him out of the final squad. He could eventually live up to his potential, but not if he's only getting the odd match in the Carling cup!
fifthcolumnblue
No Sneijder or any World Class players but Smalling will bring the house down. As the guy who owns Betfred said - I fear for United this season. I don't they will be mediocre and all the supporters will leave them in droves to glory hunt elsewhere.
Wswilly3
You assume that because we haven't blown €30 million plus on above average players, that we are destined for being a mid table club. We havent sold anyone, we were runners up last year and we have one of the most promising crop of youngsters in the world. Get your head out of your arse Willy!
