United - Hargreaves Woe!

United - Hargreaves Woe!

From potential World Cup participant to permanent treatment room occupant, these are desperate times for Owen Hargreaves.

I wouldn`t wish what Owen has gone through in the past eighteen months on anyone, even a Manchester City fan.

Whether Owen can come back and be the player we all remember is something we can only wait and ponder over.

Time can play cruel tricks with the mind and after this latest setback Owen`s resolve to carry on could well be wavering.

But somebody who had more than his fair share of injury problems, Bryan Robson, is urging Owen to remain and think positive, having remarked,

"The one thing Owen can`t do is give up. If you do, you`re not going to come back."

Exactly Owen, the light at the end of the tunnel may have been extinguished this time but it will appear again - in time!

He's not coming back. If he was in his early 20's it might be possible, but he's nearly 30 now.

I have my doubts we'll ever see him back to how he was!
