United - Welbeck Sunderland Bound!

It seems logical that Danny Welbeck will go on loan this season.

The young forward needs regular first team experience and that one word - regular - seems to be the buzz word when it comes to deciding his destination.

It`s being implied that, currently, it remains a straight choice between Sunderland and Blackpool with the inference that Sunderland appear to be edging the race with Steve Bruce having implied that Welbeck will be given a first team berth at the Stadium of Light!

Hopefully this is going to happen but he will have some good competition as Campbell is on fire for us at the minute after scoring four goals in under 40 minutes yesterday!

regular football isn't going to happen. He will be brought in simply to keep Waghorne on his toes. We aren't going to develop other teams players at the expense of our own (arguably better) players.

This would be great for Welbeck if he's able to get some serious game time. He's the best striker the academies produced in a long time and it would be a massive shame if he never realised his full potential.

Premier League and first team experience would do him wonders.
