United - Belgian Midfielder Coming?
Sir Alex Ferguson has already stated that he doesn`t need to buy to mount a serious title challenge having picked up signing as and when needed.
But we suspect that isn`t a distinctive admission that we`re not going to buy, I`d imagine Sir Alex will be keeping his eye on the transfer market and will pounce if the opportunity arises.
Today the media world seems pretty keen to promote the transfer of a midfield ace to Old Trafford.
Steven Defour is currently laid up with a broken foot but that hasn`t prevented the red-top brigade from inferring that United are hot on hi stale with the suggestion being that United have offered £13 million to Standard Liege for the player.
Now we have to admit to knowing not a lot about Defour but at a time whereby our midfield is looking a little on the aged side some investment in young talent might not go amiss!
