United - No Signings To Come?

Are you sitting comfortably?

Speaking from the North America, Sir Alex has told it as it is when it comes to possible transfers this summer.

Our boss has spoken to the media and insisted that he`s perfectly happy with his current squad and doesn`t anticipate spending any big cash amounts this summer to add to it, remarking,

"I can`t speak for other clubs but we`re comfortable with our squad. I`ve bought players at the right time and we`re quite happy with that."

There you have it, no Suarez, no Ozil, no Balotelli, nobody!

Or is he being a crafty old boy and keeping his cards close to his chest?

I have it on good authority that this is the greatest yoonited squad ever, the kids coming through are even better than the 1992 generation, Hargreaves and Ferdinand are having bionics implanted to cure all their injuries and Neville Scholes and Giggs have all signed contract extensions keeping them at the swamp for the next 10 years. In fact, so happy is taggart with the current squad that he doesn't even feel the need to keep hold of Vidic and Evra. There you go folks, all is rosy in the garden.

I think we will sign another player but just another low-profile prospect. I'm glad we're not signing anyone personally i want to see how the youth perform before being hasty and splashing out.

Sorry folks, completely unrelated to the story, but a few months ago you all rubbished me for saying that manure will never have Arab owners because of the red devil on your badge etc. Well, seems I was telling the truth aboutt the badge offending Muslim sensibilities: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/asia/malaysia/7900366/Muslims-ban-Manchester-United-shirts-over-red-devil-image.html

On a related note, I would also prefer to see how our juniours do (who actually are quite promising) before determining whether its abosolutely necessary for us to splash the cash on a player. Our squad is still very impressive after all we only lost out on winning the premiership by a single point despite the fact that we were missing the majority of our defense for a large chunk of the season.

A bit naive of you fcb, do you believe everything you are told and everything you read?
