'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Giggs Excited for New Generation

Veteran winger Ryan Giggs is adamant that the young generation of the United squad can have a massive impact on proceedings this season, and hopefully help us to reclaim our 19th title.

This is a very exciting period for our squad as the average age is continuing to drop, and we get a better impression whether the likes of Brazilian twins Rafael and Fabio, Italian starlet Kiko Macheda etc really do have futures at the world`s biggest club.

'Last season we saw a lot of the young players featuring in the first team,' said Giggs.

'Hopefully their determination and hunger will see them kick on this season and do even better, because we're going to need them'

Hopefully the youth will thrive off this increased dependence on them and turn in some influential display next term; however pressure cannot always be beneficial to these kids (because that is essentially what they are).

Nevertheless we do have firm trust in Sir Alex and sure enough he will bring the best out of the whole squad.
