United - Wes Brown Supports Technology!

United - Wes Brown Supports Technology!

With FIFA agreeing that it is a subject they intend to review, Wes Brown has come out in support of goal line technology.

Our international defender, when broached on the subject has had this to say,

"Goal line technology has to be brought in, as it would only take a few seconds to check whether the ball has gone over. It works in tennis and would be a great addition to our game."

Now I`m all in favour myself but I remain a little troubled.

I can distinctly remember Roy Carroll scooping a shot from Mendes (of Spurs) in a game at Old Trafford, when the ball had crossed the line by a good two feet but I can`t remember a situation whereby we`ve been deprived of a goal in similar circumstances.

Can you?

But for fairplay reasons it should really be introduced, even if it does go against us on the rare occasion.
