'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ronaldo Tries To Clear The Air

Cristiano Ronaldo is trying to play down the series of bust-ups that some say resulted in Ruud van Nistelrooy heading for the exit at Manchester United.

The Daily Mail has reported that Ronaldo and van Nistelrooy argued on the training pitch days before Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson began to freeze the Dutch striker from his plans, for the sake of team spirit.

Ronaldo: 'Quarrels happen in all teams, in all professions. It's normal to have small disagreements.

'That's what happened, something perfectly normal. People are turning it into something and it's only a storm in a teacup.'

I would have frozen Ronaldo out and kept Van Nistelrooy - he's a much more productive player!

Yeah "a storm in a tea cup" that was smashed in front of the cameras by none other than horse spunk lover himself. How ironic!

Not too keen on ronaldo although if he cut out the bad aspect and the cockiness of his game then he would be a wonderful all-round player, but to be honest I think you's are lucky that it looks like R.v.N is leaving as i think he is one of the most overated players in europe

Outside now Swanny! lol Think Yoo-united wil be worse of without Ruud unless they get THE right man up front. 15 million for Ruud is expecting abit much though. Uncle Malcolm is gonna have to stump up the cash and forget the debts!

Living and working in Manchester I am surprised by the lack of feeling by United fans over this. They just dont seem to be that bothered

There was some research done amongst City and United and I believe season ticket holders with an M postcode were about even between Red and Blue. Splitting hairs you can bet a lot of United season ticket holders with an M postcode come from M7, M8 etc i.e. Salford so really not Mancunians. This wolud leave the actual City of Manchester more blue than red though Greater Manchester I bet is more red than blue.... am I boring you all yet....?

Well.. there is more. Stockport, a big place really, is more Citeh than County. Not going on anything more scientific than the number of Citeh tops in Maersetway precinct. Mind you Stockport is more Sale Sharks than County. .. just a joke County fans.
