'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Balotelli Joins the List!

The season may be a little over four weeks away and Sir Alex Ferguson may well be contemplating some further transfer activity.

But I must say that I`m fast losing track of the players we`re supposed to be interested in purchasing, especially when it comes to strikers.

The latest striker the tabloid press has linked us with is the Italian teenager, Mario Balotelli.

His agent, Mino Raiola, has already confirmed out interest by coming out with the following statement,

"The interest in Balotelli is concrete and both clubs (Untied and City) have confirmed it."

"The player is clearly happy to be followed by Ferguson. But I cannot exclude that in the end the player will remain at Inter."

One reason and one reason alone wants` me to see this deal go through.

Balotelli is a fiery character and he fell out with the Inter Milan fans after being pictured wearing a shirt of their deadly rivals, AC Milan, on the television, it`d be interesting to see how Sir Alex would handle the lad if he were to become a United player and was pictured wearing a City shirt.

Get my gist?

But as far as the rumour goes, after signing Javier Hernandez, I doubt whether Sir Alex is actually in the market for a forward, don`t you?

He wont be wearing our kit anytime soon. Plus i'd be****ed if we spent 30 mil on Balotelli and not 20 mil on Etoo last season.

More of these fantasy links to players you don't need, don't want and can't afford.
