United in Weak Ozil Link!

Following on from the remarks attributed to Wesley Sneijder that he will be staying in Italian football, at Inter Milan, the press have resurrected a link to another player.

The press have used a remark attributed to Mesut Ozil, and reproduced below, as an indication that Manchester United will make a swoop for the talented midfield ace,

"I want to win trophies and there are two clubs in England, United and Chelsea, who win trophies."

On the back of that one sentence, despite Werder Bremen insisting the lad is not for sale, our wonderful press construe that United are preparing a bid of some £25 million.

Sit back and wait and see what happens although nothing is my prediction!

You can't afford him but I think you might be able to get Nicky Butt back.

Bit unfair! I thought he looked quite strong in the challenge tbh.

Ozil looks a great player in the making, but he's still young and developing. The rags need a quality replacement for Scholes now, not in two seasons, so can't see Ozil at OT, unless taggart really rates him. Sneijder seemed the more logical target to deliver instant results, but looks like he's ruled out a move.

Sit back and watch him sign for Chelsea.
