United - Youngster Goes to Deepdale!

United - Youngster Goes to Deepdale!

One of our youngsters has gone out on loan.

Matthew James (18) has been loaned to Preston North End.

Preston, managed by Ferguson Junior, was where James spent much of last season. James played 18 times for the club scoring twice, with the first coming on his debut against Sheffield United.

The loan spell will last the complete season and James has welcomed the shine to shine under the tutorship of Ferguson Junior by remarking,

"My personal aim is to carry on what I`m doing in the game, like trying to score more goals."

"I have set myself the target of scoring more goals and every single game I want to give 100% work ethic."

With morals like that the kid should go far.

Also, it`s nice to see Sir Alex keeping it in the family, so much easier to get a progress report we`d say!

Yea hopefully he will achieve all of his goals. Amazing attitude he really does conflict with todays stereotypical footballer.
