United - Sell to Buy?

The rumour about Manchester United being interested in Karim Benzema has surfaced again!

But it is a little more intriguing this time around especially after a few quotes from Sir Alex Ferguson did the rounds last week.

Benzema, as we all know, didn`t have a spectacularly successful first season at Real Madrid, a slump in for ensured he even omitted form the French 2010 World Cup squad, although on reflection that probably wasn`t a bad thing.

With Real set to spend big, following the arrival of the man with the biggest ego in world football, Jose Mourinho, Benzema could be on the way out at the Bernabou.

It`s well documented that Sir Alex tried to sign Benzema before he was lured t Madrid, hence the renewed rumoured interest. But here comes the intriguing bit!

The rumour goes on to imply that to buy Benzema United would have to sell first to rise cash. Quite puzzling when you recall that only last week Sir Alex was praising the Glazer brothers for not refusing any of his demands to sign players.

Has the tide turned or is just newspaper innuendo?

And if true, who should we sign to provide the funds to purchase Benzema?

We await your responses!

You are a Moron, simples. We are assuming we need a lot of players and that we will keep our burgeoning squad intact if we do add.

Getting increasingly tetchy on the dark side isn't it? I detect a disturbance in the force.

Wise words from Yoda there. Rooney could do with a strike partner and though i would love to see Benzema rot at Madrid Fergie clearly liked him and with the increasing interest from Real Madrid on Vidic this would seem like a very likely move. However, Fergie has placed alot of faith in Berbatov so in that sense i doubt it would happen.
