United - Keane`s England Outburst!

Now, in previous articles, I`ve vigorously defended Roy Keane.

When his job at Ipswich appeared to be in jeopardy I hoped that he`d be given further time and it appears that he has been granted that.

But, after his latest outburst where he quite openly gave his views on the England squad in South Africa, calling out individual names and stating what sort of a season they`d had, my support for the man severely waivered.

After all this is the same Roy Keane who deserted his country in its hour of need and the same Roy Keane who struggled to steer Ipswich Town away fro the relegation pack last season.

Some of those England players might not have had the best of season`s but you`re hardly one to gloat are you Roy!

Well, I've never agreed with Roy Keane before and have never defended what he had to say, but I guess there's a first time for almost everything. His comments were a bit over the top, but mostly spot on. England were terrible, and the likes of Gerrard, Terry and Rooney were the worst offenders.

Roy has always been painfully honest and though he's not one to talk his still not wrong.

Does the truth hurt?

He's a complete egomaniac, but he's correct; though, I think Capello deserves more of the blame than Roy's willing to assign. It was a collective failure.
Teddy_KGB
He may be a whack job at times but he is definitely right on this one!

and I'll agree with that mate!
