'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - The Lure of Television!

What is it about sitting in front of the camera, beside the financial rewards, and becoming a football pundit?

What is it about parading yourself on television championing the wares of a certain supermarket after your playing days have expired?

You can`t switch on your television these days without encountering a face from the past that is having one last blast!

Thankfully, Manchester United have moved fast to quell rumours that Gary Neville was ready to hang up his boots to become a Sky Sports pundit.

Everybody knows that to be a successful pundit you have to have been a Liverpool centre-back don`t they Mr Mark Lawrenson, Mr Alan Hansen and Mr Phil Thompson!

As an aside, who do we reckon has been the best television pundit at the World Cup?

Hansen his predictions and evaluation of Englands World Cup campaign were near enough correct, he did warn of Capello's arrogance, stubborness and single-mindedness.
