United - Hernandez Nets

United - Hernandez Nets

Struggling to keep the enthusiasm level up after England`s shocking demise from South Africa 2010, I eventually managed to tune into the Argentina v Mexico tie, albeit late.

But, still fuming about the ineptitude England showed, I was cheered by the sigh to four latest signing Javier Hernandez, showing just what Sir Alex saw in him.

With Argentina comfortably leading, Hernandez showed all his predatory instincts, to score the goal of the game in the seventy-first minute.

Collecting the ball on the edge of the area, he produced a smart turn before crashing home a superb shot into the top corner of the net.

A great appetite wetter for 2010/2011!

That kid is looking good. Saw that screamer with some concern! He could develop into something phenomenal. Too bad Mexico couldn't go further though...

He looks like he'll do a good job for us to be honest. We just need a talented playmaker to feed him the ball.
