'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Park Looks Ahead to Uruguay Fixture!

This afternoon, South Korea takes on Uruguay in the first of the knockout games at South Africa 2010.

The fixture gives Ji-Sung Park the opportunity to continue leading his country in their World Cup dream.

The fixture though promises to be a tough one, with the Uruguayan side impressing many as they roared to top place in their group.

Park is only too aware that when his Korea side faced a Latin American team, in the shape of Argentina, they were blown away.

Nevertheless, Park is hopeful that the experience will serve his side well as they prepare for the clash and, ahead of the game, has remarked,

"The loss against Argentina was a good opportunity to learn how to fight against Latin America teams."

"On Saturday, we want to play differently from how we played against Argentina. Latin American teams have shown great individual strength and we need to come up with different plans."


We can only hope that Ji-Sung Park is the one celebrating this afternoon but we have this very uneasy feeling that it will probably be an ex-Manchester United player, in the shape of Diego Forlan, who will have the broader smile as Uruguay march on.
