United - Vidic on Rooney`s Side!

United - Vidic on Rooney`s Side!

Public acclaim for Rooney to make his mark in this World Cup remains as strong as ever.

Plus there`s also a growing band of fellow players urging Rooney to make his mark, in this World Cup, and help propel England to glory.

Now whether this`ll happen on Sunday, when we clash with the Germans again, remains to be seen.

But Nemanja Vidic, now, unfortunately watching from the outside as Serbia crashed out at the group stages, has come out and nailed his colours to the mast ahead of the clash in Bloemfontein.

Vidic, still the subject of many a rumour about his Manchester United future, wants his Manchester United colleague to put Germany to the sword and has remarked, ahead of the game, to the media,

"I want Wayne to have a good game against Germany."

"He`s under big pressure but I`d like him to score against Germany and for England to go through."

So do we all mate, first off, let`s hope the ankle knock Wayne has been suffering from doesn`t impact on the starting eleven selection of Fabio Capello.
