United - Ferdinand Injury Update!

After missing out on the World Cup 2010 due to the knee injury picked up in pre-tournament training, Rio Ferdinand is making good progress.

Rio, as we`ve reported before, came back to Carrington for treatment rather than stay out with the England camp and ordered to rest.

According to several news outlets, his recuperation is going so well that they`re convinced he`ll be part of the Manchester United squad that will be under-taking a pre-season tour of Canada and the USA.

Hopefully, Rio will be back to full fitness, after an injury hit 2009/2010 season, to lead our charge to regain the title from Chelsea.

'Rio Ferdinand' and 'full fitness' really shouldnt be used in the same sentence anymore. When he's around he's amazing but i think from last season we've learnt not to rely on him as much.
