Tonight there`s a degree of United interest in the 2010 World Cup when Ji-Sung Park leads South Korea in a do-or-die clash with Nigeria.
Park, who scored a cracker of a goal in the first game but could only watch on as his country were torn apart in their second game, knows that a win against a Nigeria side who have failed to impress in South Africa 2010, will put the South Koreas into the last sixteen and the knockout stages.
Park, captaining South Korea and now a veteran of three World Cups, has appealed for calm as the tension and excitement mounts, remarking
"I am telling them there is going to be a lot of pressure but what is most important is we have to play to our full potential. They have to be confident. Those players who play in South Korea should act as if they are playing in their league at home."
"A lot of people have high expectations and I am looking forward to making the round of 16. There is pressure but I think we can overcome it."
Here at Vital Manchester United we fancy the Koreans to make the last sixteen tonight although that could well be as far as they eventually go!
