United - Rooney Universally Condemned!

On the eve of a crucial fixture, a fixture in which we`d love to depict Wayne Rooney as the goal scoring hero, we return to a poll that featured our goal scoring hope.

We`re returning to that moment, straight after the Algeria game, where the crescendo of booing prompted Wayne Rooney into making an outburst he subsequently had to apologise for.

We wanted to know, perhaps hoping you`d go against public opinion, if you thought Wayne was right to make his booing outburst.

Taking away the cynics who have had enough of the poorest World Cup I can recall, we were left with 46% who went for the NO option and 31% who went for the YES option.

No doubt about it then, you were in the wrong Wayne!

No suprise there then.

There's no single player in this world who never experiences dip in form. it's just unfortunate that Wine Rooney's setback has come at a critical time for England. English fans have a right to be upset but they also have the responsibility to support their son, in the good and in the bad. Rooney is such an excellent player, a man with a lot of drive, energy and love for his country. It is just out of frustration that Rooney made the outburst. Why should supporters be so selfish that they don't want to understand the young man's frustration? Anyway, I predict that Rooney will rise to the occasion and England will perform well in the later stages of the World Cup.

He seems really low on confidence and that's so unlike him! Hope he turns it around and Fabio plays him up front alone!
