'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Ronaldo Offers Support!

Support for Wayne Rooney has come from an unlikely source.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a player who left Old Trafford about a year ago in ablaze of publicity for a huge fee, has come out and spoken in defence of England`s misfiring centre forward.

Ronaldo, who has yet to set the competition alight himself, has remarked,

"Wayne is a big player but he cannot do it all on his own."

"It`s difficult for him. Wayne tried very hard, but it`s difficult when things don`t happen. If the team doesn`t score, it`s always the big players fault."

Is Cristiano a man speaking from experience?

He's not wrong but the targeting of Rooney in the last 2 games wasn't only due to the lack of goals but Rooney appearing absent all the time.

Why do you give this crettin air space, do you not remeber what he did to England last Euro championship. The winker but you take him back and forgive. Sad
Only-Sleggin
No i dont remember what he done the last Euro because we wasn't competing in it. But if you're talking about the World Cup before, I think 42 goals was as good an apology as any.
