'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - Stiles Update!

It would seem that the tabloid press might have gone a little over the top when it came to reporting the medical status of a certain Nobby Stiles.

Today, thankfully, we hear that Nobby isn`t as bad as first feared. He`s returned home after being in hospital, having suffered a 'very minor` stroke, or as they call it in the medical profession, a Transient Ischaemic Attack.

His agent, Terry Baker, reporting further on his condition, remarked,

"Doctors described it as a very minor stroke. He`ll have a small operation to put it tight, but in the meantime he`s at home in good spirits."

We`re glad to be able to put the record straight and like yesterday, we hope the 1966 legend and hero is soon up and about again!
