United - The Diego Forlan Poll!

United - The Diego Forlan Poll!

A recent poll, run by this site, featured an ex-player of ours Diego Forlan.

Forlan, as it has been well documented, struggled during his spell at Old Trafford but now looks a revelation both in La Liga and wearing the Uruguayan colours in 2010.

His two appearances, so far, have seen him nominated as by far the best player and his two goals make him a leading contender for the `Golden Boot` but that isn`t a personal target of Forlan who is concentrating more on the team ethic when he comments,

""I am not thinking of being top scorer. I am thinking of helping us win."

Returning to the poll, what did you, the United support vote for?

The majority believed (61%) that we should have given him more time!

Whilst a fair few (22%) were even ready t swallow their pride and suggest we re-sign him!

Some (12%) suggested that it just couldn`t possibly be the same Diego Forlan whilst the cheeky amongst you (5%) opted for the Diego who option!

Hindsight, what we`d give for hindsight!
