United - Feud Ended!

The press are reporting today that the right old ding-dong we were having with Le Havre has been satisfactorily concluded.

The feud erupted after the French club accused us offering one of their players financial incentives to tempt him to break his contract, with the player in question being, Paul Pogba.

United always insisted they`d done nothing wrong, something that FIFA backed them up on, but Le Havre, like a dog without a bone refused to drop the accusation and wanted to proceed further.

Thankfully, some ongoing dialogue has seen the matter concluded with an official statement reading,

"An agreement has been reached in relation to the registration of Paul Pogba with Manchester United in July 2009. The terms of the agreement will remain confidential."

Come on then! How much and when is the friendly scheduled for?

What is it with these French sides trying to stitch us English up, we had the same crap over Gael Kakuta!

What makes me laugh is that its apparently never about the money for these clubs - but that is somehow what always manages to resolve these situations. As far as I'm concerned we were cleared of any wrong doing by fifa back in october so any "agreement" between the two is purely for PR purposes ie we want them to just shut up and let it go. Its the football equivalent of giving £5 to that busker outside your office - you dont want to commend him on his musical prowess - you want him to ***** off somewhere else!

We shouldn't of gave them anything, we were cleared of any wrong doing and so should've just let them whine some more.

Well, there's no such thing as bad publicity, all of it, any kind is good for the French lot!
