United - Vidic (Plus Cash) for Benzema?

United - Vidic (Plus Cash) for Benzema?

He was a player that Sir Alex Ferguson coveted last summer but had to watch, from afar, as Real Madrid not only snapped him up but also tempted Cristiano Ronaldo away from Old Trafford as well.

Now, as well as casting envious eyes in the direction of a certain Wayne Rooney, Madrid are looking at tempting Nemanja Vidic away from Old Trafford as well.

But, to do so and possibly smooth things over, reports suggest that Jose Mourinho would be prepared to include the aforementioned coveted player, Karim Benzema, as part of the deal.

Since arriving at the Benrabou, Benzema hasn`t been the hit the Spanish side would have hoped, his lack of first team action resulted in a dip in form and subsequently he was excluded from the French squad for South Africa 2010.

Whether Sir Alex is tempted to bring the lad to Old Trafford and try to resurrect his career, whilst also losing the services of a classy centre half, remains to be seen.

What`s your verdict, how will this one turn out?

Lots of cash in fact khoder, lets face who would be willing to pay anywhere near his price when you take into consideration his wage demands and how much of a flop he has been.
