'If It's Football, It's Vital'

United - The Kingdom of Madness!

I think it was John Miles that once sung - "Music is my first love and it`ll be my last" - I`d beg to differ on that one, the man obviously isn`t a football fan.

Nevertheless, music does give us an important outlet to relax and one of my favourite bands is Magnum and I have a particular liking for the track - Kingdom of Madness.

This morning it`s a track that readily sprung to mind when I once again stumbled across the suggestion that Real Madrid are prepared to spend up to 120 million million to capture the service of Wayne Rooney and a certain Steven Gerrard.

Money talked last summer and there`s always the feeling it will do this summer but returning to the music theme, at this moment in time, I have this wonderful picture going through my head of behind the scenes in the Bernabou rather aptly resembling a 'Kingdom of Madness` especially with Jose Mourinho and his over-inflated ego pulling the strings!

Oi - leave the Special One be!

The massive collection of big egos at Madrid surely can't be good.

This should be fun! If Jose can tie it together with the players they already have, it is a formidable team! I think they will add full backs and maybe a CF.
