United - Tosic To Leave!

It was a move that never quite came off for Sir Alex Ferguson!

Our flying winger, Tosic who has made considerably more of an impression on loan at Cologne than he ever did at Old Trafford, is according to one leading news source, to be sold.

The likely destination is CSKA Moscow with a fee of circa £8 million being quoted.

Cologne, where he has been a success, were looking to hold onto Tosic but a director, Michael Meier, is resigned to losing the player admitting,

"It`s hard for any German club to compete."

Clearly, the power of the Russian currency is starting to hold sway in European football!

I'd love to know why he was never given a chance. He has generally played well whenever I've seen him play for Serbia and is credited with being the reason cologne avoided relegation. I dont know what he could have done wrong, not to even get a chance in the carling cup. From the sounds of things we made a decent profit for doing nothing so I guess we cant complain, but the whole thing is still a mystery to me.

Yep, didn't get any game time and seemed to do very well on loan, guess we are buying potential now and selling on a profit. Should we expect the likes of Diouf, Hernandez and Obertan to go the same way?

Please dont tell me we're going to start and do an Arsenal and sell player before they are even played. 8 mil though really isnt that bad for someone who rarely wore the United kit. Oh well nothing lost.
