United - A Close Run Thing!

United - A Close Run Thing!

Our last poll which was left to run for a little longer than I`d have liked, offered you a straight choice.

With speculation linking Manchester United with both Mikel Arteta (Everton) and Luka Modric (Spurs) but with it looking highly unlikely that either would be available on the transfer market, we entered the realms of 'Fantasy Football` by asking which of the two you`d like to see in a Manchester United shirt.

The response, which is why I left the poll up a little longer than I first anticipated, showed that it was a very close run thing. Neither player was able to establish a clear advantage with the lead swapping hands on several occasions.

In the end, by the narrowest of margins, it was Luka Modric that edged past the post with 52% of the vote compare dot the 48% that Mikel Arteta polled.

As you`re probably well aware, our latest poll focuses on press speculation that Michael Ballack could be bound for Old Trafford. Please vote wisely!

Ozil! Ozil! He looked very good! After the disappointment of the Gourcouffs, Milners et al.

If we dispose Anderson and/or Gibson, we could invest in Ozil and maybe L. Diarra?
