United - Obertan Wanted by Rangers!

Classified as work in progress, our French winger, Gabriel Obertan may well get the opportunity to get some valuable first team experience elsewhere next season.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the Scottish champions, Glasgow Rangers, would like to take the twenty-one year old winger on loan for the season.

Now whether Sir Alex agrees to the move or not, it would appear that Rangers would, according to the newspaper, want some financial assistance with his wages.

I guess it`s a case of weighing up cost against experience!

Would you sanction the move or do you believe that Obertan can make more of an impact in the first team next season?

I reckon it would do him a world of good alos there's far too much competition at the moment for a spot on the wing.

I'd rather see him loaned out to a northern club in the premier league. He's probably only just started to settle in the area so to pack him off to scotland might not help him - in the same way Braga ruined possebon. If he cant stay in the premier league, maybe send him to preston.

Why cant he stay with you? Im sure he'd make good cover on either flank.I dont think Park & Giggs are all that good competition.Saw his goal against Pool's reserves,he's talented.

Its probably best we keep him. Its not guaranteed he'll play there more than here, and I'd prefer he train with the likes of Giggs, Valencia and Nani to hopefully learn off them.

Better off staying at MU reserves instead of heading up to play at that hole!! Last thing the lad needs is the hateful hordes infecting him with their singing and nonsense!
MickDoire
I would love to see him play through the middle, he has the pace and the technique to beat his man.
