United - Could Carrick Start?

After, as many people believe, just scraping into the final party of 23, could our very own Michael Carrick start against the USA this evening?

The rumours doing the rounds suggest that Carrick`s selection could depend on the fitness of James Milner.

The Aston Villa player has been ill these last two days and if he`s deemed not fit enough to start the suggestion doing the rounds is that Fabio Capello will opt for Michael.

If Carrick is selected he`ll not let England down!

spu 4 life i agree with you however i can see the squad being: Green, Johson, Terry, King, Cole, Milner/Lennon, Gerrard, Lampard, Cole, Heskey, Rooney. With Capello's man-crush on Heskey playing Rooney on his own just isnt an option.

Also, the only reason i believe Green will play is because James is struggling with his knee, though i dont know if this is still the case.

Start, he couldn't start a car, shouldn't even be there when there are far better midfielders about

Sleggin is there anything about United you can actually praise and say well done for? You are perhaps the most anti-man u person i have ever seen.
